| Planning Your Wedding Liturgy |

Music and song can enhance and compliment your wedding service,
but sometimes it can be difficult to know where to start! Everybody’s taste in music is different – some love the traditional or classical hymns while others prefer a more contemporary or Irish style. Deirdre sings and accompanies herself on the Irish harp but is happy to bring her own accomplished organist/keyboard accompanist Joe Fitzgerald, a string quartet, or work with the resident organist to create the sound the couple would like on their Wedding Day. As an experienced Liturgist Deirdre has helped many couples plan their Wedding Liturgy. She meets with the couple or corresponds via email and provides suggestions for Readings, Prayers and Blessings. If the service is a Catholic Mass she guides them through the Nuptual Mass, making suggestions for the Liturgy of the Word, Prayers of the Faithful, Blessings, and Music that will enhance the Liturgy. She has written many Blessing services for Marriages with sensitivity to denominational requirements. She has a vast resource of Readings, Prayers Blessings and Reflections and ideas that will individualise your Marriage Service. |
